As the Activities Supervisoryoulloversee and inspire a team that creates daily opportunities for residents to stay active social and fulfilled. From planningspecial eventsand outings to coordinating personalized activities that reflect each residents interests your work will directlyimpactthe quality of life for everyone who calls Brendan House home.
Youllalso ensure our activities program runs smoothly by supervising staffmaintainingcompliance with state and federal regulations and coordinating with other departments to keep our environment safe lively and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities
Provide daily supervision mentoring and support to assigned staff and activity areas.
Develop and implement a comprehensive calendar of activities that promote physical mental and emotional well-being.
Complete resident assessments and develop individualized care plansin accordance withCMS regulations and departmental standards.
Assistwith staff recruitment hiringandonboarding.
Communicate departmentalobjectiveseffectively and ensure services reflect the mission and philosophy of Brendan House.
Monitor budget and resources responsibly.
Maintain consistent and reliable attendance as scheduled.
What You Bring
Minimum two (2) years of experience in aLong TermCare setting.
One (1) year of leadership experience.
National Certification Council for Activity Professionals Certification (NCCAP) preferredortraining to be completed withinfirstyear of hire.
Heart Saver AED CPR certification preferred (must obtain within90 daysof hire).
Excellent organization communication and leadership skills.
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software as needed.
