This posting will be used to fill one term full-time (until November 27th 2026) anticipatory permanent position working 75 hours bi-weekly. It will establish a 12-month eligibility list which may be used to fill similar positions.

Your role

The Income Support Unit is looking for motivated collaborative Social Workers who are committed to providing supports to clients who require assistance in the areas of income support employment and crisis management.

These positions provide case management and coordination services social assistance employment supports and disability-related supports with the goal of increasing independence and inclusion in the community. Other responsibilities may include: participating in the development and implementation of branch services and providing liaison and resource assistance to professionals paraprofessionals and the general public.

Essential qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in social work
  • Experience developing and implementing case plans collaboratively with clients
  • Experience in social services working directly with complex clients

Conditions of employment
