The opportunity
Hitachi Energy is currently undergoing a period ofstrong growththat requires significant expansion of ourmanufacturing base to meet the rising demand in the electrical distribution addition we have recently been through a major ITreorgthat hasledto the creationofthe Transformer BST or Business Solution Team that is tasked with supporting the Transformer business with its IT needs.
This roleis part of the Transformer BST and willfunction as theSolution ArchitectfortheshopfloorIT environment includingMES (Manufacturing ExecutionSystem) machineconnectivityand machine monitoring solutions.
The Solution Architectis responsible forthe designintegrityand quality of the IT solutionsand associated services delivered to theBusinessin this Solution Architect ensures that the Solution/Services provide the required functionality additionthe Solution Architectseekstominimizesrisk tobusinessregardingsecuritycost obsolescence orperformance and continuity.
Howyoullmake animpact
Define thetechnicalelements of IT Solutions and ensure alignment with HE enterprise architecture guidelines and strategy
Collaborate with theService Delivery team to estimate effort and cost complexity and risk for any new IT Demands in the portfolio
Provide technical review of requirements tomap business requests to standardtools andfunctionalityandidentifywhereadditionalcustomization or custom development would be
Help define the technical specifications fornew solutionsor significant enhancementsto existing solutions
Support the Run organization with incident and problem resolution when technical expertise is
Assistwith the review and evaluation of incoming Change Requests
Evaluate new applications tools and technologies that would be valuable additions to the internal IT landscape
Your background
StrongIT project managementskills.
Experience in building IT integrations
Knowledge of financebudgetingand financial reporting.
SAP FI/CO experience
Ability to communicate effectively with business users as well as technical teams.
Ability tocreate andupdateapplication and projectdocumentationin English
Knowledge ofHEIT Project governance process.
