About the role
Join the IT Business Initiatives Team and play a key role in optimising Oracle HCM systems to improve efficiency strengthen data integrity and enhance the employee experience.
Reporting to Lead Strategic System Deployment this position is responsible for partneringwith stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities translate business needs into technical requirements focus on process documentation workflow mapping internal communications training and system support. The position requires a blend of analytical thinking project leadership and stakeholder engagement to deliver effective sustainable technology solutions that enhance organisational performance.
Key responsibilities are:
Partner with business units to lead analysis of current processes identify HCM optimisation opportunities and define future-state goals to support the optimisation roadmap.
Translate strategic objectives user needs and process improvements into actionable technology and project requirements.
Develop documentation to support Oracle HCM end to end processes for all modules including user guides and online resources
Prepare and deliver training to the organisation through training sessions and other mechanisms to support the maturity in the Oracle HCM
Lead the data governance understanding in HCM to increase the data integrity of the system and support the organisation in building their maturity in data governance with HCM
Develop detailed functional and non-functional specifications to communicate complex business needs to internal IT teams and external vendors.
Lead and support IT projects on Oracle HCM roadmap using the Councils PMO and governance frameworks ensuring strong stakeholder engagement and alignment.
Facilitate change management activities including internal communications to support successful adoption of new systems processes and technologies.
Monitor project progress manage risks and issues and ensure delivery within scope time and budget constraints.
Demonstrate our values and behaviours when interacting with others and in delivering the outcomes of this role including the provision of a positive and efficient customer experience.
Work collaboratively to deliver services and to identify improvements to work practices and procedures.
Comply with all relevant organisational codes policies procedures guidelines standards and legislation.
Report all risks identified in the course of undertaking the duties relevant to this position.

Salary range is between $107544 - $114343plus superannuation guarantee and will be negotiated commensurate with skills experience and qualifications.
