Lighthouse Lab Services is representing an independent full-service clinical laboratory near New Orleans seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technologist with strong experience in Clinical Chemistry and Hematology. This position is ideal for a motivated and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to contribute to a growing laboratory committed to quality and patient-centered care.

• Perform moderate and high-complexity testing in chemistry and hematology in accordance with CLIA and LSBME regulations.

• Operate maintain and calibrate clinical laboratory instruments including chemistry analyzers and hematology systems.

• Analyze patient specimens and report accurate and timely results.

• Conduct quality control proficiency testing and instrument maintenance ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with laboratory leadership to troubleshoot technical issues and optimize workflows.

• Participate in method validation new test implementation and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold high standards of laboratory quality and safety.

• Siemens Atellica chemistry platform

• Sysmex XN-1000 hematology analyzer

Experience with these systems is highly preferred but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

• Louisiana CLS Generalist License (required) must qualify through ASCP or AAB certification recognized by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners (LSBME).

• Bachelors degree in Medical Laboratory Science Biology Chemistry or related scientific field.

• Prior clinical laboratory experience in chemistry and/or hematology required.

• Strong analytical skills attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) preferred.
