Job Summary

Holt CAT is the largest Caterpillar dealership of heavy equipment in the United States. We have a full-time 1st shift Engine Technician - Shop position with our Small Bore Engine Assembly Line available at our San Antonio Texas location. The hours of the position are Monday-Friday.This position is responsible for providing high-quality teardown inspection and repairs of diesel engines (natural gas) in a shop environment responding to customer needs in a positive caring and timely manner and ensuring maximum value for work performed.

Qualifications:

Perform complex repairs correctlysuch as teardown inspection repairs test running and/or painting of diesel engines in a shop environment.
Ability to be productive by working efficiently and effectively with a high energy level.
Ability to work with limited supervision and able to work in a team atmosphere.
Must have own tools.
Must have a valid drivers license
GED or High School Diploma highly desired
Must have steady employment.
Ability to frequently reach bend walk etc.
Must be able to lift 60lbs. approximately 15 times a day.
Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
Excellent attention to detail and results-oriented.
Excellent attendance is required.
Able to work overtime as needed to meet customer demand
Must have great leadership skills and be able to lead a team
Direct Mechanical Experience is needed.
