We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our Automation Business Line in Spain. Madrid is the primary location however we are considering other locations in the country. If youre passionate about technology thrive in a dynamic environment and love building strong relationships this could be your perfect next move.
Your responsibilities
As a Sales Engineer youll play a key role in driving our business forward by:
- Supporting Sales and Service Managers in developing strong customer relationships through visits meetings and tailored proposals.
- Promoting Valmets cutting-edge automation solutions by identifying customer needs and collaborating with technical experts.
- Managing the full sales cyclefrom opportunity identification to closing dealsensuring competitive and value-driven offers.
- Meeting sales targets and preparing accurate sales forecasts.
- Enhancing customer satisfaction by monitoring service quality and identifying process improvement opportunities.
- Delivering impactful product presentations and ROI-based solution proposals.
- Participating in industry events to showcase Valmets innovation and thought leadership.
Who is the candidate we are looking for
Were looking for someone who is both technically skilled and commercially savvy:
- A degree in Engineering (Electrical Chemical or Controls).
- 35 years of experience in sales or technical roles within continuous process industries (pulp & paper oil & gas etc.).
- Solid knowledge of automation systemsthis is a must!
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- A proactive resilient mindset and a customer-first attitude.
- Fluency in Spanish and advanced proficiency in English.
