Job Summary
Engineers on this team workon distributed systems event-driven pipelines and high-availability services with a strongemphasis on correctness auditability and operational excellence. Youll collaborate closely with
product compliance and other platform teams while helping shape foundational systems in agreenfield environment. This is a high-impact opportunity to apply deep backend expertise inPython and Kotlin to systems that matter to both customers and the business.
What Youll Do:
With the support of your teams tech lead and manager you will break down largerprojects into individual tasks deliver them in multiple phases and collaborate with others
to ensure timely delivery of your work.
You will partner with other members of the B&H team to deliver on the tasks assigned toyou by the tech lead or manager.
You are comfortable navigating a large code base debugging others code andproviding feedback to other engineers through code reviews.
You have strong verbal and written communication skills that support effectivecollaboration with our global engineering team.
What We Look For:
We are looking for Backend engineers who can contribute to backend services andpipelines.
You have a total of 2 years of experience as a software engineer.
You have experience designing developing and launching APIs at scale usinglanguages like Python or Kotlin.
Having front end experience in React is a bonus.
You have experience creating tests using JUnits WireMocks
You are familiar with the building blocks of distributed systems and the technologies likeAWS MySQL and Kubernetes.
You have mastered taking a simple problem or business scenario into a solution thatinteracts with multiple software components and executing on it by writing clear easily
understood well tested and extensible code.
You have solid experience working with source control systems like Git and GitHub andunderstand how to create update and commit pull requests.
