Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse Operating Room
Location: Lawrenceville Georgia
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift 4x8-Hour Shifts
Pay Rate: $2206 Weekly Gross
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a 13-week assignment at a leading healthcare facility in Lawrenceville Georgia. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality perioperative care ensuring patient safety and efficient coordination of surgical procedures in a dynamic operating room environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients before during and after surgery.
Collaborate with surgeons anesthesiologists and surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Prepare and maintain the operating room for various surgical procedures.
Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies following standard operating protocols.
Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to infection control guidelines.
Ensure proper handling and documentation of surgical specimens.
Utilize hospital systems to document patient care and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience required.
Certifications:
BLS certification (required).
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with advanced surgical systems including DaVinci XI robotic technology (preferred).
Experience with orthopedic neuro urology general and thoracic service lines.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Additional Details:
The department operates 24/7 with 2040 surgical cases per day.
Rotation through high-volume specialties including Orthopedics Neurosurgery Urology General and Thoracic.
Candidates must be available for holiday coverage as per facility expectations.
