The Mass General Brigham Medical Group is a system-led operating entity formed by Mass General Brigham to deliver high quality low cost innovative community-based ambulatory care. This work stems from Mass General Brighams unified system strategy to bring health care closer to patients while lowering total health care costs. The Medical Group provides a wide range of offerings including primary care specialty care behavioral and mental health and urgent care both digitally as well as at physical locations in Massachusetts New Hampshire and Maine. The group also offers outpatient surgery and endoscopy imaging cardiac testing and infusion. We share the commitment to delivering a coordinated and comprehensive experience across all locations ensuring the appropriate level of care is available to every patient across our care delivery sites.

We are located at One Hutchinson Drive in Danvers MA. As an Internal Medicine office we provide physical examinations routine health screenings and preventative care for adults.

We are seeking a full time 40-hour Clinic/Practice Assistant Lead to support our practice onsite Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm.


Job Summary

Oversees day to day operation of an outpatient clinic or practice. May assist by assigning and prioritizing workflow troubleshooting issues training and orientation providing back up support for a Supervisor or Manager. Provides guidance and help to others to resolve complex issues and problems.

Essential Functions:

-Performs assigning and prioritizing workflow troubleshooting issues training and orientation providing back up support for leadership.
-Acts as Super User for scheduling registration and billing systems.
-Provides assistance and training to others in these areas.
-May perform more complex or specialized functions (i.e. surgical scheduling schedule changes/blocking) at more advanced competency level.
-May function as a backup for clerical staff to perform routine administrative and clerical duties relating to a clinical service or physician practice office and make patient appointments and maintain appointment records.
-May process patient billing forms and scan documents to patient medical record/LMR.
-Call for patient medical records and laboratory test results.
-Open and distribute unit mail or faxes.
-Type forms records schedules memos etc. as directed.
-Provides functional guidance to related team.
-Assists Supervisor with daily activities of practice staff.


Qualifications

EducationHigh School Diploma or Equivalent preferredCan this role accept experience in lieu of a degreeNoLicenses and CredentialsCertified Medical Assistant National Certification - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferredExperienceoffice experience 5-7 years requiredKnowledge Skills and Abilities- Strong understanding of all Office Suite. - Strong communication and organizational skills. - Strong and proven leadership skills. - Ability to work with staff of all levels. - Excellent time management skills. - Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. - Ability to adapt to multiple and rapidly changing priorities and deadlines.
