As we continue to expand were looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Purchasing Specialist to join our team at our Markham head office.

What Youll Do

As our Purchasing Specialist youll play a key role in sourcing and managing our product assortment. Your responsibilities will include:

Overseeing the full purchasing cycle for toys games collectibles and specialty merchandise
Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors distributors and manufacturers
Negotiating pricing payment terms and delivery schedules to maximize profitability
Monitoring inventory levels and sales trends to plan restocks and new product acquisitions
Collaborating with merchandising and retail teams to ensure timely product distribution
Reviewing purchase orders for accuracy and ensuring prompt processing
Analyzing product performance and lifecycle to guide purchasing decisions
Tracking shipments and resolving delivery or product discrepancies
Researching emerging trends products and suppliers to expand our offerings
Coordinating with accounting and warehouse teams on invoicing and receiving

What You Bring

4 years of purchasing or buying experience ideally in retail (experience with toys collectibles or pop culture products is a plus)
Proficiency in NetSuite is required
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems
Excellent analytical organizational and attention-to-detail capabilities
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
A genuine passion for games toys and pop culture is a big plus!
