Role and Responsibilities:
- Assist with designing commercial and mixed-use properties
- Demonstrate an energetic and professional demeanor strong technical and communication skills
- Work independently in a team environment
- Plan carry out and manage project development engineering activities and technical due diligence on project acquisitions for renewable energy projects especially large PV systems and optimize project designs specifications schedules to achieve targets for production generating capacity capital cost financial returns construction milestones
- Act as subject matter expert on all aspects of civil and structural engineering to optimize site layouts foundation and structural designs equipment and materials selection construction techniques to maximize performance and minimize lifecycle costs
- Write edit and/or review technical scope of work documents specifications procedures site reports progress reports feasibility studies proposals presentations Review and negotiate technical aspects of EPC contracts interconnect agreements
- Coordinate with Development and Finance teams and external consultants to deliver reports schedules layouts schematics plant and equipment layouts system cost estimates EPC contract technical exhibits energy production forecasts
- Actively addressing issues as raised by the project team by providing guidance or resolution either personally or through collaboration with other engineers quantity surveyors contracts specialists and HSEQ specialists
- Providing support and advice to the Construction Manager on Civil matters
- Liaising with Client team in relation to ongoing project progress decisions and changes.
