About You

You are a QA Automation Engineer passionate about building high-quality reliable and efficient testing frameworks. You thrive in fast-paced environments where automation collaboration and performance drive success. You take pride in writing clean maintainable test code and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in QA Automation focused on web applications.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for automation scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with and/or Playwright frameworks.
  • Proven experience performing API testing using Postman or Cypress built-in tools.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as CircleCI Harness or GitHub Actions.
  • Proficiency with version control systems (Git Bitbucket GitHub).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with performance testing or Salesforce test automation is a plus.
  • English Full Professional Proficiency.

You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:

  • Plan analyze design develop execute and maintain manual and automated test scenarios and test data this includes determining priority for test scenarios and creating execution plans to implement these scenarios.
  • Identify opportunities for automation within software processes.
  • Identify and clearly document bugs found. Deliver regular reports on bugs found.
  • Support design and execute test automation strategy for the projects along with other developers and QA Analysts.
  • Coordinate the test plans with project managers development managers and others
  • Initiate the analysis design implementation and execution of tests monitor test progress and results and check the status of exit criteria (or definition of done)
  • Automate collection and delivery of test progress and test summary reports.
  • Support the selection and implementation of automation tools.
  • Introduce suitable metrics for measuring test progress and evaluating the quality of the testing.
