Job Summary:
Accountable for monitor evaluate and maintain the airworthiness of the aircraft pertaining to powerplant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring technical support to Maintenance is provided for continued airworthiness and reliability of aircraft engines and related equipment.
- Conducting event analysis and other technical investigations as needed and suggesting improvements for effective Maintenance inspections.
- Evaluation and implementation of Airworthiness Directives and OEM Service Bulletins as necessary.
- Engine trend monitoring of Akasa Air fleet engines/APU and reviewing of oil consumption.
- Liaison with regulatory authorities original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and other external entities relevant to CAMO and AMO functions (within t heir scope of function).
- Co-ordinate with other departments for maintenance program / practices Improvement /day today functions with a view to reduce Engineering Delays MEL Pilot Reports.
- Associate with Engineering Projects / Logistics / Planning etc. for Induction and New projects.
- Review specialized/critical maintenance tasks such as special borescope Boro-blending etc.
- Preparing/reviewing of the Engine/APUs workscope.
- Conducting/Participating mandatory meeting as required with all stake holders as per CAME and other engineering manuals.
- Ensure Safety Management System is incorporated in all the functional areas.
- Authoring procedures related to the functional areas.
- Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Powerplant Manager & CAM.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Thorough knowledge in CAMO technical services.
- Advanced skill on interpretation of AD SB maintenance data and other technical documents.
Good to have:
5 Years in the CAMO Organization (Technical Services)
Educational Qualification:
B.E/ in Aeronautical or AME Diploma
