Job Summary

Masivs position.

Location: Colombia.

We are looking for a Junior Applications Operations Specialist to beresponsible for managing the proper functioning of applications through observability mechanisms monitoring and resolution of incidents or cases that affect their operation ensuring compliance with company guidelines in order to optimize the customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze the request or escalated incident by the support team according to the assigned case priority.
  • Provide a solution and/or follow up on incidents or requirements as necessary.
  • Report the status of received requirements to the department coordinator on a daily basis.
  • Offer effective solutions to internal customers by maximizing first-contact solutions and minimizing rework and escalations.
  • Ensure the resolution of incidents within the application by liaising with the development team and tracking the solution progress.
  • Adhere to the defined processes for maintaining the applications of a product according to agreed-upon dates and timelines.
  • Document new processes that involve recurring operational tasks.
  • Notify and/or implement changes improvements or errors that may arise within the already defined processes in order to optimize execution times and costs.
  • Develop automation processes that are required within the operation of the application.
  • Ensure the automation of any recurring operational task.

Essential Requirements:

  • Technical technologist or Bachelors degree in systems or related fields or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year of experience in software development QA (Quality Assurance) and customer service areas.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Management of different Database Management Systems (DBMS).
  • Monitoring observability and operation of applications.
  • Consumption of API services.
  • Management of ticket management systems.
  • Strong customer service attention to detail assertive communication and problem-solving skills.
