Job Summary
Inventory Control wanted in NE Austin
Type: Temp to hire
Pay: $20-21 depending on relevant experience
Schedule: 6:30 AM 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Position Summary
We are looking for a person with experience tracking and managing inventory levels for parts materials and supplies.
This role involves keeping accurate records preparing reports and assisting with shipping and receiving.
Responsibilities
Count materials and update the inventory system (Filemaker)
Match physical inventory to office records
Investigate and resolve discrepancies
Recommend removal of damaged or unusable items
Receive parts and handle incorrect packaging
Identify parts and audit kits
Ship materials as needed
Stock and issue materials based on process time sheets
Follow company procedures and safety guidelines
Maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
Meet deadlines and maintain quality
Requirements
1 to 3 years of related experience or training
Understanding of basic math
Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds
Able to stand walk reach stoop kneel crouch or crawl throughout the shift
Basic computer skills including Word Excel and internet use
Reliable and regular attendance
Willingness to work overtime when needed
