Position Summary

Responsible for providing the strategic counsel expertise vision and leadership for identifying evaluating implementing and integrating appropriate financial strategies. Develop unique methods techniques evaluation criteria and solutions for obtaining financial results for extremely complex problems with intangible variance factors. Provide financial direction to ensure future needs are met. Leads complex financial evaluations and analysis manages projects and develops business solutions. Takes a leadership role in directing and providing expert consultation to Financial Analysts.

Essential Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing the strategic counsel expertise vision and leadership for identifying evaluating implementing and integrating appropriate financial strategies. Oversee the gathering analysis preparation and summary of present and future financial budget trends and performance. Responsible for presentations to Business Area leaders and works closely with senior leadership to ensure they are effectively utilizing existing financial strategies. From a financial perspective perform complex confidential studies and analysis.
• Develops and implements unique solutions to complex problems with intangible variance factors exercises independent judgment in developing methods techniques and evaluation criterion including interpreting accounting guidance to challenge and obtain the proper financial results.
• Coordinate the financial analysis and support to management for the annual budget process as well as modeling analysis and financial support for current year and five year forecasting.
• Leads complex projects and financial evaluations. Implements process improvements and business solutions.
• Takes a leadership role in directing and providing guidance to and reviewing the work of Financial Analysts. Effectively manage change and assist others in managing change.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelors degree with a concentration in Accounting Finance or related discipline.

• MBA CPA or CFA preferred.

• Minimum of 6 years experience in general financial accounting reporting or analysis. Note: Candidates with a Masters Degree or certification such as CPA CMA CFA etc or investment banking or public accounting background may be granted years of experience to reach the 6-year minimum.

• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office applications.

• Demonstrated skills in analysis financial and economic modeling financial process controls and problem solving.

• Demonstrated leadership skills.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team and to interface with all levels of management.

Preferred

• Technical Background
  • SAP S/4 conversion experience
  • Background in SAP specifically related to Project Systems
  • Collecting and cleaning data from various sources and ensuring data quality.
  • Manipulating and transforming data using tools like SQL Python and R.
  • Use statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to perform exploratory data analysis to understand the nuances patterns and anomalies within the data.
  • Support development validation and deployment of machine learning & statistical models to predict classify and optimize various business outcomes.
• End to End Process development
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business challenges and develop data-driven solutions to real-world problems.
  • Translating technical concepts into actionable insights.
  • Understanding project and team scope as it relates to broader strategic initiatives.
  • Effectively communicating findings to both technical and non-technical audiences through impactful visualizations.
