Experience and/or Education:
Five years of relevant experience in an occupation related to marketing communications or outreach; or a combination of related education and/or relevant experience totaling five years
Preferred Experience Areas:Public or community outreach behavioral health awareness event coordination campaign logistics stakeholder engagement and communications support in a public sector or nonprofit setting.
Preferred Degree Areas:Communications Marketing Public Relations Behavioral Health Public Health or a closely related field.
Event planning and community outreach experience in large-scale or statewide initiatives.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging diverse audiences.
Knowledge of behavioral health promotion stigma reduction or suicide prevention messaging.
Strong organizational skills for tracking outreach metrics and logistics.
Ability to represent 988 at public events with professionalism and cultural sensitivity.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Google Workspace and event tracking tools.
Collaborative team mindset flexibility and attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
Motor Vehicle Check if the employee will drive a state-owned vehicle either in an ongoing capacity while performing their normal day-to-day job duties OR on occasion for training/meetings/client visits/etc.
Must possess a valid non-restricted Colorado Drivers License or a non-restricted U.S. Drivers License for positions within 30 miles of the CO state border
Out-of-State Drivers License holders must obtain a valid non-restricted Colorado Drivers License within 30 days of employment start date.
