DescriptionChubb is hiring for a Workers Compensation Business Analyst! This role sits in our Philadelphia PA office.
Main Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain business requirements and systems documentation as well as; perform testing for development projects system enhancements and fixes for the Workers Compensation Product Line.
- Provide technical advice troubleshoot counsel and project management expertise in the development and utilization of the policy issuance system involving rating policy issuance statistical reporting claims handling and receivables.
- Assist Product Line Management in maintenance of insurance forms rules and rating plans so they are in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Analyze industry communications to remain current in workers compensation product line issues.
- Keep current with rating and rating plans for Workers Compensation.
- Evaluate current operational and communication procedures/practices and revise as appropriate to improve overall efficiency.
- Perform work in a manner that is focused on exceeding customers expectations.
- Create reports/scans used in analysis and research using MIS Business Tools Excel etc.
Qualifications- Bachelors degree or equivalent industry experience in underwriting product management or compliance.
- Insurance coverage and rating experience a plus.
- Strong organizational analytical and project management skills
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail project ownership accuracy and completion on a timely basis.
- Ability to manage a number of high priority projects different demands and competing customers simultaneously
- Proficient in EXCEL and other Microsoft Office products
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to identify and solve problems
- Proactive/Self Starter with a strong work ethic who can represent team at meetings when necessary and communicate back to the team.
- Team player with excellent communication skills Ability to communicate to Team IT system vendors and various business units
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Ability to create Insurance form mockups a plus
- Knowledge of Workers Compensation Insurance a plus.
