SUMMARY
Supervises supports and implements the activities of the Shur-Lok Quality Assurance System. Administers those activities that are designed to meet customer requirements for a Quality Assurance System. Develops and implements procedures in support of company quality policies as developed by senior management. Supplies feedback to the senior management team on the effectiveness of the quality system. Supervises and directs the work of staff in various quality assurance functions.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read analyze and interpret general business periodicals professional journals technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients and customers.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest commissions proportions percentages area circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply logic to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and handle deadline pressure.

Technical Knowledge and Expertise Thorough knowledge of industry and company quality control systems methods and requirements. Ability to act as a resource to operations and engineering functions with regard to achieving quality goals. Proficient in PC and web-based applications that support customer systems. Basic understanding of manufacturing processes. |
Follow-Up Consistently follow up on implementation of new procedures system improvements or corrective actions through audits of quality system and procedures. Respond in a timely manner to customer inquiries and requests. |
Problem Solving Ability to identify root problems and recommend and/or initiate solutions. |
Teamwork - Support coworkers in other departments and contribute technical guidance necessary to prevent or correct quality issues and promote the successful flow of operations. |
