What Youll Do:
- Orchestrate Operations: Oversee daily warehouse and delivery teams to ensure smooth efficient and safe operations.
- Drive Efficiency: Work with the other staff to work through workflows from receiving to shipping ensuring accuracy productivity and on-time order fulfillment.
- Master Inventory: Help manage inter-company transfers and ensure proper storage and order accuracy.
- Safety First: Safely operate forklifts maintain a clean secure facility and ensure trucks are loaded properly for damage-free deliveries.
- Lead by Example: Maintain positive communication with the team and customers and represent the company with professionalism.
- Will be expected to help fill in during the day in all areas of the warehouse.
This is an hourly position and will work closely with the Branch manager daily. Starting wage is between $48000 - $54000 DOE.
Your Qualifications:
- Customer-Focused: Excellent service and problem-solving skills.
- Organized & Detail-Oriented: You have a keen eye for detail and can juggle multiple priorities.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience with warehouse operations inventory management and product handling is a must. Knowledge of DOT rules and OSHA forklift requirements is a plus.
- Supervisory Skills: Previous experience leading teams in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
- Team Player: You know how to inspire teamwork and build a cooperative environment.
- Education & Experience: High school diploma/GED required with 1-2 years in a similar position or progressive role preferred.
