Leading Hand and Plant Operators Waste Industry Over 41.93hr + Penalties!

Job Connect are urgently seekinga Leading Hand and Multi-ticketed Plant Operators for an industry leader in Waste Management in theIpswich area.

Leading Hand

Will be overseeing a small team of product shredding and destruction staff to receive pallets of goods using a Forklift separate packaging and products operate industrial shredders use Loaders and Skid Steers to collect recoverables and load/drive HR Trucks to reclamation facilities.

The role offers:

• $40.83/hr (permanent rate) Penalties note this is due for imminent review upwards through EBA negotiations!
• Stable Day Shifts: 6am 2:30pm Mon Fri some occasional overtime
• Direct support and guidance from facility Manager
• Direct hire to permanency

Ideal applicants will have:

• Experience leading a team in an industrial environment
  • Forklift Licence and experience with Counterbalance Forklifts unloading trucks
  • HR license and some experience driving a manual HR truck professionally
  • Front End Loader RIIMP ticket is ideal but not necessary
  • Skid Steer RIIMP ticket is ideal but not necessary

Multi-Ticketed Plant Operator

As an experienced operator you will be joining a team of like-minded and similarly skilled operators on a landfill to carry out haul road maintenance and compaction duties.

We are seeking experienced operators from civil mining bulk earthworks or waste industries due to waste material having uneven density compared to clean fill.

Ideal applicants will have 1 year experience and RIIMP tickets for:

• Excavator
• Loader
• Bulk Water

Other tickets highly regarded:

• Dozer
• HC
• Scraper
• Compactor
• Grader

The successful applicants will be offered the following:

• $41.93/hr Penalties!Note this rate is due for increase in July through EBA negotiations!
• Good OT - 11 - 12 hour average hour days Saturdays available!
• Stable Day-shift hours - 6am starts
• Ongoing work with Job Security within a large company that has proper safety processes
• Good rotation on equipment and training on further machines to grow!

Permanent staff get additional allowances for:

• Multipleplant ticketsattract additional $$ per hour
• Above Award Hourly Rate - higher wage
• Industry Allowances
• Meal Allowances
• Wet Weather allowance
• Get a RosteredDay Off - 12 RDOs per year

Note - successful applicants will need reliable transport to get to site as it is not public transport friendly.All applicants will need to pass a Drug Urine Screen prior to start.
