About the Role
You will design and implement advanced mathematical and algorithmic models that optimise business processes in pricing logistics workforce planning and forecasting. Using operations research techniques such as linear non-linear and integer programming stochastic modelling and simulation youll develop scalable data-driven solutions to complex operational problems. Youll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure your models deliver measurable results and align with strategic objectives.
Requirements
- Masters degree or PhD in Operations Research Applied Mathematics Statistics Computer Science or another quantitative discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data science or operations research roles ideally in mobility travel logistics or similar industries.
- Deep expertise in mathematical optimisation (linear/non-linear/integer programming) and solver technologies (e.g. Gurobi CPLEX).
- Solid experience in forecasting time-series analysis and machine-learning-based optimisation.
- Proficiency in Python (and/or R) and SQL with experience in developing production-ready solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable business insights.

EU citizenship or a valid EU work permit for Portugal is mandatory.
