Overview of Business
As a field engineer at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. you will perform repairs periodic inspections delivery sales promotion of customer service items and customer training for our analyzers. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our products operate flawlessly for our customers.

Perform on-site analyzer inspection repair and delivery. Manage clerical tasks and respond to customer inquiries for pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturers in Japan.
Required Experience/Skills
- Must possess the ability to engage in direct and indirect communication with pertinent individuals both within and outside the organization.
- Demonstrate proficiency with common tools.
- General computer knowledge.
- Must possess a standard drivers license and drive a car daily.
- Ability to read manuals in English. It may be necessary to make inquiries in English to overseas factories.
Desirable Experience/Skills
- Experience as an analytical instrument service engineer or in application support.
- Previous work background in pharmaceutical/chemical manufacturing facilities or research institutions along with proficiency in operating laboratory equipment.
