Inviting applications for the role of Manager - Data Science.

This person will develop and maintain forecast models for their customers incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales marketing finance retailer replenishment analysts and other available sources.

Responsibilities
Experience in implementing time series/statistical forecasting models and implementing demand forecast and handling customers expectations in model tuning based on business assumptions and rules
Review historical sales trends research demand drivers prepare forecast data develop statistical forecast models and evaluate forecast results
Continuously improvement of Forecasting Techniques & Approach on SKUs level
Develop demand forecasts based on demand patterns and business trends.
Perceptual and analytical problem solving abilities relating to data analysis identifying performance trends and presenting skills.
Ensure delivery of projects within timelines
Hands on experience in visualization tools - PowerBI or Tableau experience with Python/R SQL Excel VBA MS Excel MS-power point (for delivering insights and results)
Collaborating with engineering teams to develop prototypes and software products that can be deployed across varied environments (e.g. cloud on-premises devices etc.)
Domain experience in pharmaceutical/CPG Company or KPO.
Provide increased focus on analytics and emphasize on providing valuable insights to drive improvement opportunities
Effectively respond to requests for ad hoc analyses.
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ownership of tasks assigned without supervisory follow-up
Proactive planner and can work independently to manage own responsibilities
Personal drive and positive work ethic to deliver results within tight deadlines and in demanding situations
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
Masters or bachelors in engineering - BE/B- Tech BCA MCA BSc/MSc
Masters in science or related

Preferred qualifications
Core data analytics work experience in CPG with hands on technical skills Python R and Excel VBA
