Job Summary
Summary:
A construction company based in North Carolina is seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent to oversee mechanical electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems for a large-scale construction project in Moncks Corner SC.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate all MEP-related work on-site ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications.
Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely and quality installation of mechanical electrical and plumbing systems.
Monitor and enforce safety standards conducting site inspections and ensuring OSHA compliance.
Collaborate with project managers engineers and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and maintain workflow efficiency.
Review project schedules budgets and progress reports to ensure timely completion.
Conduct quality control checks and troubleshoot installation or performance issues.
Maintain detailed documentation and reports on MEP work progress and inspections.
MEP Superintendent Requirements:
- 5-10 years of experience in MEP supervision on industrial construction projects required data center experience is a plus
- Associates or bachelors in mechanical engineering construction management or related field is a plus
- Strong knowledge of mechanical electrical and plumbing systems including codes and industry standards
- Experience overseeing projects with a mechanical scope budget of $60MM is preferred
