Job Summary

Interim Assistant Principal for Special Education at Randolph High SchoolDecember 1 2025 - June 30 2025Responsibilities:Provide guidance and supervision to teachers in providing explicit targeted support to students with individualized educational collaboratively with the building principal central offices and parents to ensure that provisions for Individual Education Plans Progress Reports and transition plans are done in a timely and effective manner that enhances student academic personal social and emotional success. Work collaboratively and with teachers to conduct IEP the implementation of a full repertoire of teaching strategies in order to meet the goals and objectives of each students individualized educational and oversee systems that ensure academic success for all students including successful life plans in collaboration with the building principal and other administrative provide opportunities that impart skills and knowledge to learners that prepares them for academic personal social and emotional success at the school level with support from the principal and the central collaboratively with the building principal to ensure that special education services and programs are provided with a high level of academic quality through student centered principles and practices. Work collaboratively with the building principal and the central offices to ensure that all special education responsibilities such as: initial annual and re-evaluation meetings are conducted and supported to ensure student centered learning and collaboratively with the principal and the program directors to lead professional development and supervision of teachers in expanding their use and knowledge of student centered learning the redesign of putting forth the principles of student centered learning into all of the classrooms at the families and community so they take a meaningful and active role in their students with teachers to create analyze and monitor data systems and inform and adapt instruction to meet the needs of students at the building collaboratively with the principal to supervise support and evaluate teachers in all aspects of job responsive to the needs and interests of all students while working in collaboration with the school principal to meet students where they are and to provide explicit supports to ensure that students reach their full building based professional development in collaboration with the school principal and central office staff to build and enhance educators abilities to enhance student centered learning and services for all students.
