What You Will Do:
The Senior Data Scientist will deliver technical expertise and hands-on support focusing on advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making. This role emphasizes execution of complex data solutions and contributes to strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Python scripts and tools for data cleaning transformation modeling and automation
Implement data science solutions including statistical modeling and machine learning
Support data integration cleansing and quality assurance activities
Develop dashboards and visualization tools for executive reporting
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements
Apply CRISP-DM and Agile Kanban methodologies for iterative delivery
Stay current on emerging technologies and best practices in data science
Contribute to data culture and education initiatives including playbooks quick guides and training sessions
What You Will Need:
US Citizenship is required
Bachelors degree required
Minimum THREE (3) years of experience in data science roles with demonstrated technical depth
Proficiency in Python for data analysis automation and model development including experience with relevant libraries and cloud environments
Proficiency in R SQL and visualization tools (Power BI Tableau)
Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies data platforms and analytics methodologies
Ability to collaborate across technical and business audiences
Familiarity with federal data standards and compliance frameworks
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Masters Degree
AI/LLM Certifications
Experience with federal contracting and procurement processes
Experience supporting data governance metadata management and open data initiatives
