The Role: ECISA Regional Head Oil-Markets Midstream & Downstream (OMD) Consulting.

The Location: Our ECISA consulting team is located across &various offices in ECISA including London and Paris.

The Team: This team leads S&P Global consulting within this industry segment for ECISA region. This team of diverse professionals brings together broad industry experience working collaboratively with each other and other teams within S&P Global to provide our clients with expert insight analysis and advice.

The Impact: This role leads a team of around 15 colleagues with a current annual revenue of around $3 million. The ECISA lead is responsible for developing new business including significant revenue growth / leading consulting sales project execution / revenue delivery developing a high performing team via coaching / mentoring and managing complex projects.

Whats in it for you: S&P Global clients include virtually every major oil and biofuels industry participant producers refiners retailers and financers. This role will provide an opportunity to work directly with different clients involve some travel and learning opportunities within the constantly evolving downstream space as the energy transition progresses and industry participants need to adapt and change. OMD consulting is part of the global CI Consulting team: 350 colleagues and 7 different practices (OMD Upstream Chemicals Agri Gas Power Energy Transition).

Responsibilities:

  • Manage team performance and development of around 15 colleagues

  • Team revenue delivery and growth from a baseline of around $3 million per year with significant revenue growth targeted

  • Support and/or project manage consulting projects across the full range of consulting assignments in the downstream oil segment energy transition/decarbonization studies transaction/due diligence support investment and strategy analysis crude oil pricing and marketing price and margin forecasting and biofuels studies

  • Provide consulting technical and leadership coaching to team members

  • Lead OMD ECISA consulting business development bring in and close sale of new consulting leads grow consulting revenue

  • Develop productive relationships within industry in among client companies to generate recurring consulting business and revenues

  • Work with consulting project teams and coordinate with our research groups to leverage SPGCIs industry leading insights and analysis

  • Collaborate with colleagues across the SPGCI global consulting business

  • Be knowledgeable of SPGCIs subscription products and services and represent the chemical oil markets midstream and downstream research to clients and prospects

What Were Looking For:

  • Minimum 15 years downstream oil industry experience is essential traditionally acquired by working for industry consulting or technology firms

  • Team leader and business development/sales expertise and experience is essential

  • Commercial track record of business development and delivery of large complex projects to either internal or external stakeholders

  • Ability to create a high performing team and to develop team members rapidly via coaching / mentoring

  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills at all levels of business to enable effective/productive communications with key people including executive level clients

  • Refinery experience is a significant plus in process engineering / operations / planning and economics / project roles

  • Bachelors degree required. A graduate degree in engineering and/or business is preferred or equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

  • Ability to participate in lead and manage large interdisciplinary teams

  • Must be highly organized and creative with accomplished time and project management skills
