Job Summary

Social Work and Social Policy

  • Part-time (0.8 FTE) appointment on an ongoing basis.
  • Base salary range: Level C $144143 $165809 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.

The School of Health and Clinical Sciences at The University of Western Australia is a research

policy and practice development.

About the opportunity

  • Help to lead the Field Education team to source and secure student field placements for the Master of Social Work and Bachelor of Social Work.
  • Deliver quality teaching and unit coordination in social work
  • Work with the Leadership Team to ensure creativity innovation and sustainability in Field Education

About you

  • A Bachelors degree or equivalent higher qualification.
  • At least five years social work practice experience in a relevant industry setting.
  • High-level leadership and management skills with the ability to efficiently work on multiple tasks simultaneously and meet required deadlines.
  • Experience in the supervision of social work students on field placements.
  • Knowledge of and strong networks within the health and human services sectors.

Note: A current National Police Clearance Certificate Finance Check Working with Children Check will be required by the successful applicant.
