The Role
Were looking for an accomplished strategic leader to own and drive our global Product and Marketing functions overseeing a diverse portfolio that represents a major share of Coherents worldwide revenue.
In this pivotal role youll shape the direction of our product strategy define market positioning and guide a world-class team to deliver excellence across innovation performance and profitability.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire an EMEA team of product managers applications engineers and product support specialists.
- Own full P&L responsibility across multiple product lines setting financial targets optimising performance and driving sustainable growth.
- Define the product road-map guiding innovation and execution from concept through to market success.
- Act as the face of Coherents technology engaging customers representing the brand at global industry events and aligning marketing efforts across the business.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with executive leadership operations and manufacturing to deliver value efficiency and impact.
Education & Experience
- 10 years experience in Product Management or Business Leadership within lasers optics or advanced manufacturing technologies.
- Strong track record of leading global teams and managing complex product portfolios.
- Proven ability to translate strategy into results balancing innovation with financial discipline.
- A degree in Physics or Engineering (postgraduate or business qualifications highly regarded).
- Deep understanding of market analysis product positioning and competitive strategy.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills confident presenting to executive boards and customers alike
Working Conditions
Working conditions typical of a climate controlled and professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers phones photocopiers.
Safety Requirements
All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Scotland EHS standards.
