Position Summary
The School of Professional Studies and University Transfer Humanities Division is currently seeking a qualified applicant to teach English Language Learning I.
Duties and Responsibilities
On Tuesday/Thursday evenings starting on January 16 2024 the instructor will teach a class of 24 or fewer students. There is an option to Zoom on one of these two evenings.
In addition to teaching instructor must track attendance and work with the user-friendly computer platform EnGen which allows individualized assistance to learners.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Bachelors degree or higher with relevant course work.
- TESOL TOEFL or equivalent recognized certification
Experience- Teaching and tutoring experience preferred.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities- Assess student learning and incorporate findings into course delivery
- Support and encourage students in a welcoming classroom climate
- Work with existing materials for instruction
Position open until filled.
Adjunct pay dependent on degree level.
