Welcome to Environmental Operations

At Environmental Operations we play a key role in treating the waste water and biomass produced by Novonesis and Novo Nordisk. Our goal is to ensure that production runs seamlessly while meeting all environmental regulations for waste water. Our state-of-the-art waste water facility is one of the largest and most advanced of its kind and we are currently undergoing a significant expansionmaintaining operations while upgrading the plant. With a team of 50 skilled professionals including process operators technicians engineers and support staff we work together to ensure our processes align with the highest standards taking pride in delivering exceptional results.

In this role youll make an impact

By taking process responsibility for parts of the waste water facility you will be instrumental in ensuring smooth and compliant operations. Your expertise will help identify and troubleshoot any system inefficiencies while driving ongoing process optimization and acting as a user manager during investment projects.

Moreover you will collaborate with factories to manage abnormal waste fractions and develop strategies for handling them effectively. You will also maintain and improve control systems within the plant contributing directly to the success of our day-to-day activities and long-term goals.

...in addition some of your key tasks will include:

• Ensuring compliance with regulations for waste water and biomass leaving the site

• Troubleshooting and solving process-related challenges

• Optimizing existing processes to enhance performance

• Serving as a process owner in investment projects

• Engaging in dialogue across departments to handle unique waste types

You will work closely with technicians and operators to manage both current operations and future developments. Additionally you will collaborate with project managers programmers and maintenance teams to align efforts during investment and technology improvement projects.

To succeed you must hold:

• A degree in Biochemical Engineering or a similar field.

• Experience in waste water treatment process engineering or project leadership.

• Proficiency in either Danish or English (preferably both).

• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders.

• An analytical mindset and the ability to manage large data sets.
