Job Description
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of Commercial clients fostering strong relationships based on trust and expertise.
- Manage day-to-day service needs for accounts including processing policy changes renewals claims assistance and certificates of insurance.
- Collaborate with producers underwriters and carriers to secure and negotiate coverage tailored to meet clients individual needs.
- Review insurance policies endorsements and other documentation to ensure accuracy completeness and coverage compliance for Commercial Auto and Trucking accounts.
- Educate clients on available options policy changes and risk management strategies specific to their operations.
- Proactively address and resolve client inquiries or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Identify cross-sell or up-sell opportunities that align with client goals; ensure they are referred to appropriate team members as necessary.
- Stay current on market trends industry standards and changes in insurance regulations affecting Commercial Auto and Trucking policies.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in commercial insurance account management with a specialization in Trucking and/or Commercial Auto lines.
- Licenses/Certifications: Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required. Advanced certifications such as CIC CPCU or ARM are a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with agency management systems carrier platforms and certificate software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook).
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships through trust empathy and delivering results.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to analyze client risks assess needs and recommend tailored solutions.
- Organization: Strong attention to detail and excellent multi-tasking and time management skills.
