Our Science & Insights team is seeking a talented Landscape Modelling Scientist to play a key role in advancing biodiversity and landscape this role you will develop refine and deliver innovative landscape and soil modelling to support the Adaptation Strategy and a range of important projects. You will transform complex data into actionable spatial information assessments forecasts and indicators that drive climate impact science and inform critical biodiversity and landscape research. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in a dynamic team and make a tangible impact on environmental science and policy.

About You
You are an autonomous and organised professional with experience developing and delivering rigorous science projects particularly in soil and landscape modelling. You make day-to-day decisions on work priorities and workload management while being accountable for high-quality outcomes. You hold scientific qualifications and have well-developed knowledge and proven experience in areas such as soil and landscape modelling digital soil mapping spatial analysis climate impact modelling land and soil indicators or biophysical modelling.

Essential Requirements

  • Scientific qualifications well-developed knowledge and demonstrated experience of one or more of the following: soil and landscape modelling digital soil mapping spatial analysis climate impact analysis and modelling land and soil indicators and biophysical modelling.
