About the Role
Our client a well-established leader in the chemical manufacturing sector is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead their financial operations and support the companys long-term growth. This is a key leadership position responsible for driving financial planning risk management and operational excellence across all business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial functions including accounting budgeting forecasting and cash flow management.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to ensure sustainable business growth and profitability.
- Monitor key financial metrics and provide actionable insights to the management and board.
- Ensure compliance with local laws tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Lead and mentor the finance team to improve efficiency accountability and analytical capabilities.
- Manage relationships with banks auditors regulatory bodies and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business expansion investments and cost optimization initiatives.
- Evaluate financial risks propose mitigation strategies and maintain robust internal controls.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and present strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Drive digital transformation and system improvements in financial operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) ACCA or MBA (Finance) from a recognized institution.
- Experience: Minimum 1015 years of financial leadership experience preferably in the chemical or manufacturing sector.
- Proven expertise in strategic financial planning cost control and operational finance.
- Strong understanding of taxation compliance and ERP-based financial systems.
- Exceptional analytical leadership and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
