Job Summary

As an assembly fitter you will work as part of a team to build both static and mobile recycling machinery.

Responsibilities:

Follow engineering drawings to build heavy equipment i.e. conveyors screens
Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
Inspect finished products for defects and make necessary adjustments
Work on own initiative
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Use overhead gantries and forklifts to lift and move equipment safely

Qualifications:

Two years of experience working in a similar environment
Previous experience as an assembly fitter
Experience using hand tools
Ability to read and interpret drawings and work instructions
Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
Familiarity with warehouse operations and materials handling
