Job Summary
Would you welcome a meaningful Part-Time role as a KS1 Teacher in a Surrey public school from January 2026 This KS1 Teacher post starts January 2026 and is ideal for a practitioner who wants concentrated contact time while remaining fully involved in planning and CPD. The successful KS1 Teacher will prepare their class environment before January 2026 attend induction in January 2026 and teach from January 2026 in a part-time capacity as the KS1 Teacher.
A week in the life - KS1 Teacher (Part-Time)
Mornings: the KS1 Teacher leads phonics shared reading and early maths sessions as the KS1 Teacher focusing on high-impact teaching. Afternoons: the KS1 Teacher completes careful observations plans next steps and liaises with families as the KS1 Teacher. Outside of contact time the KS1 Teacher participates in phase moderation attends CPD and prepares resources ahead of January 2026 and following January 2026.
KS1 Teacher Responsibilities
The KS1 Teacher will plan sequenced learning deliver systematic phonics and run small-group interventions as the KS1 Teacher. The KS1 Teacher will assess progress moderate standards and support transition to Year 2 as the KS1 Teacher. The KS1 Teacher will be ready to start teaching from January 2026.
KS1 Teacher Requirements
We seek a KS1 Teacher with QTS/EYTS (or equivalent) secure KS1 practice and strong communication skills. Availability for pre-term planning before January 2026 induction in January 2026 and a part-time start from January 2026 is required.
