About the Role
Hello! Were looking for a Finance Controller / Accountant to join our Finance team in Barcelona. This role is key to ensuring the financial health compliance and accuracy of our fast-growing SaaS company. Youll manage financial operations reporting and control processes while working closely with different departments (Sales Operations HR) to support strategic decision-making.

Your Responsibilities
* Manage accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
* Oversee statutory accounting taxes and compliance with local and international standards.
* Lead monthly quarterly and annual closings ensuring deadlines are met.
* Prepare financial statements P&L balance sheet MRR CMRR and cash flow reports for management and investors.
* Conduct budget vs actual analysis and monitor departmental margins.
* Manage cash flow and treasury operations ensuring liquidity and payment accuracy.
* Collaborate with HR on headcount and payroll reporting (budget vs actuals).
* Participate in external audits and maintain internal controls and financial policies.
* Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives across finance and operations.
What were looking for in you
* Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
* 5 years of experience in accounting or controlling roles (SaaS or tech companies preferred).
* Strong understanding of Spanish accounting taxation and compliance standards.
* Experience preparing management reports and board metrics (MRR CMRR P&L Cash Flow).
* Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting software (Xero Sage Netsuite).
* Strategic mindset with attention to detail and high ethical standards.
* Fluent in Spanish and intermediate English (B1 level or above).
* Organized proactive and comfortable working cross-functionally.
Extra points to shine
* Experience in SaaS or subscription-based business models.
* Knowledge of BI tools financial dashboards or data visualization.
* Familiarity with Google Cloud and project cost tracking.
