CK Group are currently recruiting for a Service Manager on behalf of a medical diagnostic company.
Location:This role will be based at their site in Gateshead and is a permanent role with Mon-Fri daytime working hours.
Salary: Competitive (depending on experience)
The Role:
The successful candidate will lead and develop a skilled team of service engineers working closely with the Technical Support Team to ensure all customer issues are resolved efficiently and within key performance targets.
This is primarily a site-based role with travel for emergency cover and support estimated to be less than 25%. International travel will be required more than UK travel.
Responsibilities:- Plan coordinate and schedule all preventive maintenance and repair visits
- Act as a forward-facing point of contact for customers and distributors
- Provide direct and remote service support within the UK and internationally
- Ensure emergency breakdown response within 24 hours (MonFri)
- Lead train and develop the service team to meet performance goals
Your Background:- Minimum 2 years experience as a Service Manager or Team Leader in a technical service environment
- Proven track record managing and developing customer-facing service teams
- Strong understanding of electronics mechanics and software (qualification or relevant experience required)
- Medial diagnostics experience would be advantageous
