About the Opportunity
A high-impact role in the Early Childhood Education sector working within preschool and foundational learning programs across India. We deliver developmentally appropriate activity-driven early learning experiences that prepare children for formal schooling and lifelong curiosity. This on-site position supports a safe inclusive classroom focused on holistic child development.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design and deliver age-appropriate play-based lesson plans that build early literacy numeracy motor skills and socio-emotional development.
- Implement structured daily routines and activity stations to support exploration creativity and peer interaction in a safe classroom environment.
- Use formative observation and early childhood assessment tools to track developmental milestones and adapt learning plans for individual needs.
- Manage classroom behaviour positively using consistent routines and developmentally appropriate guidance strategies.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardiansshare progress updates learning objectives and strategies to support learning at home.
- Maintain accurate records lesson documentation attendance and child safety protocols; support school events and teacher training as required.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Diploma or certificate in Early Childhood Education (ECE) Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) or equivalent.
- Proven classroom experience with pre-primary / preschool-aged children in an on-site environment.
- Strong understanding of play-based learning early childhood pedagogy and formative assessment techniques.
- Practical skills in lesson planning classroom management and activity-based instruction.
- Ability to deliver early literacy instruction including phonics and storytelling techniques.
- Up-to-date child safeguarding and first-aid awareness; adherence to safety and hygiene protocols.
Preferred
- Montessori Playway or Waldorf exposure or certification.
- Bilingual instruction capability (English and regional language/Hindi).
- CPR / First Aid certification and prior experience with structured preschool curricula.
