We are currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Accountant / Team Lead to join a dynamic organization within the services and forex environment. This opportunity is ideal for an individual with a BCom and completed SAIPA or SAICA articles who is ready to step into a leadership-focused role.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee financial accounting processes including monthly management accounts and reporting.
Lead and mentor the finance team ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
Manage forex-related transactions and fund flow (FFF) processes.
Perform balance sheet reconciliations budgeting support and financial analysis.
Assist with audit preparation and liaise with external stakeholders.
Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualification and Skills Required:

BCom degree with completed SAIPA or SAICA articles (essential).
Minimum of 3 years post-articles experience.
Experience working with forex and FFF (fund flow management) processes advantageous.
Strong understanding of accounting principles financial statements and monthly reporting.
Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
Advanced Excel proficiency.
