Job Summary
Role: Automations Specialist
Priority Location: South Africa / Latin America
Working Hours: Monday-Friday 40hrs/week Flexible hours with required overlap in various US timezone
Type of job: Fully Remote
Salary Range: $1500-$2000/month (The final offer is at the clients discretion and will depend on the candidates interview result skills and experience)
About the Role: We are seeking a reliable and versatile Automation Specialist to become a long-term partner in driving automation data integration and analytics initiatives across multiple business verticals including fractional CFO consulting SaaS sales and client operations. This role is ideal for a generalist technologist with strong low-code automation and data skills who enjoys building efficient systems connecting APIs and improving business workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Low-Code Automation (Zapier & Integrations)
- Design build and maintain automations between CRMs spreadsheets and business apps.
- Create scalable workflows that improve data accuracy and save manual effort.
- Support API-based automations and custom connections where needed.
- Data Scraping & Processing
- Build scrapers (e.g. using Octoparse or similar tools) for structured data collection.
- Ensure scrapers run securely on own infrastructure.
- Maintain clean data pipelines for analytics and reporting.
- Data Analytics & Reporting
- Structure and analyze financial and operational data for insight generation.
- Build dashboards or reports to support fractional CFO and SaaS operations.
- Collaborate on business intelligence automation projects.
- Maintenance & Optimization
- Troubleshoot and enhance automations as systems evolve.
- Document processes and recommend continuous improvements.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience: 24 years in automation data integration or analytics.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with Zapier and similar low-code automation tools.
- High proficiency with Google Sheets or Excel.
- Familiarity with any data scraping tools (e.g. Octoparse Apify Python scripts).
- Experience with any CRM tool integrations.
- Experience in utilizing data analytics tools (Tableau PowerBI).
- Bonus: Previous experience with HubSpot CRM integrations.
- Soft Skills:
- Proactive communicator who thrives in a remote asynchronous environment.
- Strong English proficiency.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and systems thinking.
