Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Perform pricing reserving and capital modelling for non-life insurance clients
Develop actuarial models and dashboards using Excel SQL R or Python
Assist with regulatory reporting (SAM and IFRS 17) and risk management projects
Prepare client reports and presentations and provide insights to senior actuaries and stakeholders

Job Experience and Skills Required:

BSc / BCom Actuarial Science or a related Degree (minimum requirement)
7 or more actuarial exams (ASSA / IFoA)
3 years experience in short-term / non-life insurance or actuarial consulting
Strong technical skills in Excel (advanced) SQL R or Python
Excellent analytical ability attention to detail and communication skills
Must be a South African citizen or have the right to work in SA
