The Arizona Department of Corrections Rehabilitation & Reentry is seeking a dynamic and experienced Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Supervisor to lead and oversee all aspects of EEO for the agency. This key role manages complex discrimination investigations ensures compliance with state and federal laws and advances initiatives that promote fairness inclusion and respect across the organization. Regular travel to all complexes is required to build strong collaborative relationships foster trust and support meaningful change initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strategic solutions-driven leader with strong investigative mediation and training expertise who excels in handling sensitive and high-impact workplace matters.
-Supervise EEO staff in researching complex personnel issues including discrimination disciplinary actions investigations and compliance with labor laws (FMLA ADA etc.)
-Handle highly sensitive and confidential matters for the agency
-Participate in dispute resolution settlement negotiations and conciliations
-Develop interpret and monitor Equal Opportunity goals and initiatives
reports and analyze data related to selection processes surveys and workforce demographics
-Deliver EEO presentations and conduct training for staff management and external stakeholders
-Provide technical assistance and guidance on supervision grievances and staff development
-Advise executive leadership on confidential HR and EEO matters
-Analyze HR data to support informed decision-making and reporting
-Represent the agency in meetings with external entities (e.g. EEOC DOJ DOL AGs Office Governors Office)
-Attend internal meetings across organizational levels
-Perform other related duties as assigned
