Description
Project Manager
The Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning execution and delivery of short-term and long-term projects to help our premier clients Industrial Coatings business achieve its growth strategy. This role reports to the Project Management Office Leader and is a member of the Industrial Coatings Strategic Marketing team. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams manages stakeholder relationships and uses their strong leadership communication and organizational skills to ensure project goals are met efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning:
- Define project scope goals and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans including timelines milestones and resource allocation.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate project teams ensuring all members understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
- Conduct regular team meetings to monitor progress and address any issues.
- Be an objective voice-of-the-business
- Budget Management:
- Develop and manage project budgets ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
- Monitor expenditures and implement cost-control measures as necessary.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and report on project risks and issues escalating as necessary.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates on project status including progress challenges and changes to scope and/or timelines.
- Gather and incorporate stakeholder feedback throughout the project lifecycle.
- Project Closure:
- Conduct project reviews and document lessons learned.
- Ensure all project documentation is completed and archived appropriately.
- Facilitate the transition of project deliverables to operational teams.
Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree with 7 years relevant experience i.e. product management project management.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in project management with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile Waterfall).
- Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g. Excel Microsoft Project Trello Asana).
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
