Responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting production and facility equipmentincluding automated systemsto ensure safe reliable and efficient operations. Supports production by minimizing downtime performing equipment installations and contributing to continuous improvement.- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical electrical hydraulic pneumatic robotic and automated systems. Use PLCs ladder logic and HMIs for fault resolution.
- Automation Support: Maintain and support automated production equipment including robotics conveyors sensors actuators and control systems.
- Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Execute scheduled maintenance on heading threading painting packaging and automation equipment.
- Equipment Installation & Upgrades: Assist with setup installation commissioning and improvement of equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
- Machine Setup & Changeover: Support alignment and tooling adjustments during changeovers. Provide operator support during runs.
- Facility & Utility Maintenance: Maintain air compressors lighting water systems and perform facility inspections.
- Documentation: Accurately complete work orders downtime logs and maintenance records. Communicate repair timelines with production leads.
- Inventory Management: Track usage of tools and parts; request reorders to avoid downtime.
- Collaboration: Work with production engineering and quality teams. Train operators in basic troubleshooting and equipment care.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in root cause analysis and support equipment performance enhancements.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow OSHA standards lockout/tagout procedures and company safety policies. Participate in safety programs audits and corrective actions.
- Associate degree or technical certification in industrial maintenance preferred
- 3 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance ideally in fasteners or metal forming
- Strong skills in automation PLCs ladder logic and control systems
- Knowledge of mechanical electrical pneumatic hydraulic and robotic systems
- Ability to read blueprints wiring diagrams and technical manuals
- Skilled in minor machining or fabrication
