DescriptionJOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Senior DirectorApp Product Management & Digital Shared Services theSenior Manager Content Compliance & Mobile App Operations will assume multiple responsibilities to ensure content compliance on Marriotts direct digital channels and collaborate closely with Mobile App Product Owners to execute App operational tasks as required.Candidate for this role will station in our China office located in Shanghai China.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Content Compliance
- Work very closely with China Legal team to provide compliance related advice to business team as the first line of support from digital side.
- Intake required compliance changes and remediations from China Legal team external authorities or local App stores collaborate with product and engineering team to implement on corresponding digital channels.
- Act as a control gate from digital side to perform regular content scanning and review to mitigate content risks.Review campaign contest survey EDM and push marketing materials for any illegal & improper contents.
- Compliance review website and Chinese APP for any compliance violation including advertisement law copyright infringement issues sovereignty and national security issues etc.
- Mobile App Operations
- Digital Merchandising:
- Coordinate with GC marketing team to map out content calendar and ensure smooth content configuration
- Day-to-day content management as required by business (upload update coordinate with the Guangzhou content team and liaise with the HQ content team).
- Work with global content management team to establish and streamline Chinese-facing material review procedure.
- Continuously strive to improve in-App content quality and interactions by initiating channel-fit content plan.
- On-property feature deployment: support product owner and development team for features that require property activation establishing property communication mechanism for training feedback collection and roadshow etc.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university.
- 5 years experience in managing digital content to meet business needs in China market.
- Strong skills in developing content for web/mobile products.
- Deep understanding of China digital eco-system user experience and interaction patterns of Chinese customers.
- In-depth knowledge of content technology and best business practices in a global environment.
- Demonstrates self-confidence energy and enthusiasm in digital products.
- Expert knowledge of social media channels and methods of marketing communications through social media.
- Strong problem solving customer relationship building skills and excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Able to collaborate effectively with others in a highly-matrix environment
- Strong skills in developing & communicating business plans in both English and Chinese (Mandarin is a must).
- Proficient interpersonal skills personable yet persistent.
