About the Role:

Are you an experienced and confident Support Worker with a passion for making a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities and complex needs At Aruma we are seeking dedicated professionals to join our Community Team as Human Rights warriors.

In this role you will advocate for the rights dignity and equality of adults young people and children ensuring they receive tailored support that respects their unique needs and goals. Your experience in managing high-challenging behaviours will be essential as you implement and review personalised support plans that align with everyones aspirations. Building strong relationships with clients their families and community stakeholders will be a key part of your work promoting inclusion and self-determination for those you support.

About You:

  • Must hold a valid Working with Childrens Check
  • Must hold a current and full driver licence
  • Passionate about human rights and positive change.
  • Empathetic compassionate and understanding of diverse experiences.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen and respond to customer needs.
  • Team player enthusiastic about collaboration and best practices.
  • Willing to obtain relevant regulatory requirements.
