At Mercy Hospital our busy Imaging department offers big city volumes with a small-town feel. As a Level III trauma hospital in a scenic Colorado town known for outdoor recreation we specialize in a variety of patients and have been recognized for our outstanding patient experience and safety. Across all modalities we currently have over 60 employees and we proudly complete about 105000 exams per year. These different modalities include Xray CT MRI Nuclear Medicine PET Ultrasound ECHO Mammography and Interventional Radiology. Our compassionate employees gain valuable experience in a high-paced environment with potential opportunity to cross-train in different modalities. While working as a Mammographer you will provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department while performing high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining sensitivity to patient needs. As a Mammographer you will follow the standards of safe radiation practice and demonstrate leadership abilities and act as a role-model for other associate will act as a clinical resource to unit personnel and assures current standards of practice for the unit.
Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day qualified Mammographer candidates will need the following:
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- ARRT (R) required
- ARRT (M) required
- Current BLS certification required from American Heart Association
Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally and/or up to 20lbs frequently and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
